This Is What Happens To An Elf On The Shelf Whose Parents Are Naughtier Than The Kids
My Dad Moment

Warning not for children's eyes!

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose and parents keeping their kids in line with that creepy elf sittin' on a shelf.

During the Christmas season, parents around the world are tasked with the extra nightly routine of positioning and taking care of a little buddy. Elf on the Shelf is a small toy elf that comes to stay with families during Christmas and reports back to Santa on their behavior.

Every night while the kids are asleep the elf moves to another place in the house, keeping the magic alive.

But sometimes Elf on the Shelf gets a little naughty. Lately an internet trend has been going viral each year where parents show off pictures of how their Elf on the Shelf got out of control.

These are the best ones we've seen so far.

Some Elves Just Want to Watch the World Burn

Some of the best Elf on the Shelf naughty posts come from iconic photos. This elf smiles while his gingerbread house burns, paying homage to everyones favorite meme of a girl smiling while her house is on fire.

Karma's a Bitch

Toy jealousy is a real thing guys. Woody's jealousy of Buzz in Toy Story came back around, but this time there's no happy ending. Elf on the Shelf wanted to get rid of some play time competition.

Breaking Naughty

Bad elf, bad elf whatcha gon' do when they come for you.

When the money is too good, even elves can't walk away.

Evil is Contagious

Sometimes evil influences those as innocent as a little elf. Poor Frosty.

Farts Are Always Funny

Lighting up farts is a talent. Maybe their nimble fingers and flexibility help them out.

Who doesn't love the lovable white trash cousin from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? An Elf on the Shelf version is even better.

Food Baby

Don't we all feel like this elf after the holidays?
